Acorn Child Care Center: Invested, Interactive and Intergenerational

In 1985, Avon Oaks opened the Acorn Child Care Center. Why would a senior care facility open a daycare? Because at Avon Oaks, we believe it’s natural for children to encounter and interact with people of all ages. And, our assisted living and skilled nursing residents are truly enriched by the time they spend with the children, whether it’s a musical, art, poetry or other supervised activity.

The Acorn Child Care Center provides care for infants to elementary school age children and is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. A hot lunch is provided each day, as well as two nutritious snacks.
